What it is

Not another layer.
A replacement for two of them.

  • Not a fitted sheet.
  • Not a mattress protector.
  • A sleep surface engineered for night sweats.

When the sweat comes, you're not sleeping in it.

A wicking top and an absorbent core, engineered to move sweat off your skin and dry fast — before damp bedding wakes you up.

Waterproof that breathes.

Your mattress stays protected without wrapping the bed in heat-trapping plastic. No crinkle, no rustle, no sauna.

The 30-second 3am swap.

Two pads per box: one on the bed, one on standby. Heavy night? Peel, swap, back to sleep — no remaking the bed in the dark.

Will it stop your hot flashes? No — and we won't pretend otherwise. Hot flashes are hormonal; no bedding can prevent them. What Sleep Skin changes is what happens next: the sweat gets moved off your skin, so a flash is far less likely to end in a soaked, chilled, wide-awake 3am.

Questions, answered honestly

Everything you'd want to ask.

No — this was our hardest engineering requirement. The waterproof barrier is hidden deep in the construction; what touches you feels like premium, cool, natural-fiber bedding. No crinkle, no rustle, no sliding around. If it felt like a protector, you'd put a sheet over it — and we'd be back to the problem we started with.

Actually waterproof — it's the design's spine. Under the soft top layers sits a thin monolithic membrane engineered to breathe: heavy sweat nights, spills, and life can't reach your mattress, without the heat-trapping plastic that makes ordinary protectors feel like a sauna.

The 360° elastic skirt is designed for mattress depths of 14–18 inches, with anti-slip grip on the underside hem so it holds firm even on slick pillow-tops. If your mattress is shallower, the skirt tucks under and grips — that's what the anti-slip dots are for.

Yes — machine wash, tumble dry, like any good sheet. The wicking performance is designed into the fibers and the knit itself, not a sprayed-on finish, and it's engineered to hold up wash after wash. Two pads means one's always clean.

Sleep Skin replaces your fitted sheet and your mattress protector — you sleep directly on it, which is exactly why the cooling reaches you. Your blanket or duvet stays on top for comfort, exactly as before. (Both legs in is optional. Old habits die hard.)

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Hot flashes are hormonal; no bedding can prevent them. What Sleep Skin changes is what happens next: the heat has somewhere to go and the sweat gets moved off your skin, so a flash is far less likely to end in a soaked, chilled, wide-awake 3am.

You email us within your 100 nights and say it didn't work. We refund the full $149 — and you keep both pads. No return label, no boxing anything up, no restocking fee, no “break-in period” fine print. We'd rather eat the cost than make an exhausted woman repack a mattress pad.

Because it replaces two products: a premium mattress protector and a fitted sheet — bought separately, those often cost more than $149 while doing this job worse. $149 is founder-run pricing on the first 500 two-packs; retail is $199. Real cooling systems cost thousands; real relief shouldn't.

At launch, yes — Queen (60″ × 80″) only. A deliberately small first run means getting one size perfect instead of five sizes almost-right. King is next; joining the list from this page gets you first word when it opens.
